ADG’s Art Loan Initiative

“The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.” Alberto Giacometti
Art, as we know it, is a way and an outlet for us to express our emotions, and convene thoughts that we can’t articulate into words. We often find that workplaces can feel very routine with all the desks and hallways. Our brains hold on to memorable environment features where art can be served as a landmark, allowing them to spark their creativity alongside their level of productivity.
For that reason, Al-Dabbagh Group’s headquarters are decorated with all sorts of artworks ranging from one-of-a kind sculptures to unique paintings crafted by our own colleagues. Our artwork is not only put up as a means to calm and destress our colleagues but to also function as an endowment that aligns with one of our three main principles of Omnipreneurship, Giving.
We decided to introduce the Art Loan Initiative into our group companies’ headquarters, starting with TFC’s office in Riyadh. Our colleague, Dalal Bahareth, implemented this initiative by acquiring different pieces from local Saudi artists such as, Ola Hejazi, Khalid Al Mutlaq, and our very own TFC colleague, Budoor AlSudairy. The loaned pieces will remain in the office till it is assigned to a different location for its next rotation! That way, each painting can be tested out to see where it fits in best and we can ensure the creativity in art can be expressed in different places. Dalal flew to Riyadh and signed the agreement with Tanmiah’s CEO, Zulfiqar Hamdani. The initiative will allow ADG to share and loan artworks to TFC and, in the future, our other group companies.
