RSI releases their ‘Inaugural Sustainability Report’

RSI & The Sustainability Outlook
Sustainability starts with self-purpose and commitment, and it is guided by our long-standing Omnipreneurial values of earning, giving, and sustaining. Although our business has grown and evolved over the 55 years we have been around, our core values have remained constant and continue to be at the heart of everything we do, including our approach to sustainability and providing long-term value for our stakeholders and the environment where we live and work.
We are committed to ensuring that our sustainability efforts help address important issues for our business, our employees, our society, and the environment as a whole. We are committed to building an open, understanding, and inclusive culture where everyone is valued and heard. Our first ever Sustainability Report, published earlier this year is an important milestone for us and we hope to build on it year after year as we transition into an MSCI rating qualification program.
Safeguarding our Future
Our business requires the use of valuable resources, including energy, water, and raw materials. We work to reduce our environmental footprint with a focus on addressing climate change, waste, and water security. We believe that maintaining a safe operation for our workers and communities is our first responsibility.
We have set ambitious environmental goals. Over time, we plan to use renewable energy sources, make our own operations carbon neutral, enhance emissions tracking and reporting for our full value chain, and use sustainable materials that support the preservation of our environment. We also plan to repurpose waste for beneficial use and integrate sustainability focused design principles into our design processes.
