Reorganization @ ADG

Change is often a word that can cause some unsettling and anxious feelings. However, Heraclitus, the Greek philosopher observed many moons ago something that still stands true today, and that will stand true throughout time and generations: “change is the only constant in life.”

That is a somewhat dramatic introduction to the slight reshuffle we have had over here at HQ in the first quarter of 2023. We are always on the lookout for ways to keep evolving in a way that enhances and propels the progress we make toward our 2030 finish lines. So, in order to keep us moving full steam ahead, we have shifted things around so that our Human Capital Unit and Omnipreneurship Unit have merged to become one, under the department title of Omnipreneurship Unit. This will further strengthen, unify and embed our governing ecosystem into the heart of our people-focused department, allowing for a more seamless integration toward achieving our 30×30 goal: to be listed amongst the top 30 global companies on the Great Place to Work rankings by 2030.

When it comes to our Sustainability Unit, the Sustainability Council will now be the entity that tracks the progress of all Giving initiatives across all our verticals, given the overlap between the two areas. Our giving goal is to be ranked amongst the global top thirty wholly owned family business in terms of impactful giving, while our overarching sustainability goal is to be ranked amongst the global top thirty wholly owned family businesses in terms of contribution to the SDGs. In order to become a key contributor to the SDGs, the Sustainability Unit will be working toward establishing ADG and its subsidiaries as strategic, data-driven and industry-leading sustainable businesses with a “AAA” MSCI ESG Rating by 2030.

Aside from being tasked with monitoring the transformation of our verticals into digital champions to be ranked amongst the top 8 percentile of global digital enterprises, our Omnipreneurship Lab (OmniLab) will also be overseeing the transformation of ADG into the world’s top 50 BCG ranked innovative companies by 2030.

Lastly, but by no means least, we now have an ADG Leadership Council, set to meet on a quarterly basis to make sure we are all on track toward achieving our Earning goal of being ranked amongst the global top thirty wholly-owned family businesses by 2030. Aside from keeping everything on track, the council will also keep eyes and ears open for any possible synergies across our verticals for value creation.

That, friends, is the ADG reshuffle in a nutshell for you: here’s to pushing forward together, toward all our 2030 targets!
